As a junior UX researcher and designer, my role includes finding creative solutions to complex web & mobile app challenges, building products and experiences that reduce user friction and improve ease of use and addressing all users' needs. All findings from various research methods are taken into site maps and low-fidelity which are handed over to UI designers for high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes. The final leg of my postgrad studies required me to participate in work place learning. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to do so at MakeReign. My role was to assist the UX design team with live projects while learning new skills through a curated curriculum. I made use of various software platforms utilized at the agency in order to communicate effectively within the team and the company in order to achieve identified business goals. The skills I practiced and built upon include: user research methodologies, information architecture, wireframing, comparative analyses and prototyping. Show less
