I compile and write all of our kitchen, bathroom and bedroom design news pages each month. I research and keep a keen eye on all the latest interior product launches and trends. I also write our regular product designer profile pages which include an interview with up-and-coming or well-established product designers and showcase their work and collaborations. I contribute to new feature ideas and have input into the design and layout of my pages. I proof and sub edit the entire magazine every month and I frequently research and write case studies. Attending press events, exhibitions and press trips, and developing relationships with PR agencies.Updating Twitter feeds. I am proud to say I have worked on Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom magazine for two years (as of May 2014) and worked alongside the team during the major re-launch and re-design for the May 2013 issue. I received an excellent level of training to be able to advise all kinds of customers from beginners to the more experienced travellers/ramblers/Duke of Edinburgh students. My training included information on trekking, camping and travelling and I gained a good knowledge of the technical aspects of walking shoes, rucksacks, waterproof and breathable clothing and tents. I also learnt how to interact with customers to find out what their needs were and how much their budget was to be able to give them the best possible advice. Show less
