The ultimate aim of this project was to determine how loss of MGMT impacts the response of hiPSCs to alkylating chemotherapeutics. Identification of optimal concentrations of chemotherapeutics will allow the future treatment of single cell daughter sub-clones with said chemotherapeutics for WGS. Thesis title: DNA damage and cellular responses induced by alkylating agents in wild type and MGMT knockout human stem cells. The aim of this project was to analyse RNA-Seq data produced from preprocessed hepatic and pancreatic progenitors to compare individual tissue types, exploring their common genes and understand the differentiation process. Bioinformatic analyses were performed using R statistical environment.
