I was elected as joint chair representing S. Northants Locality GPs on the executive board of Nene CCG. Within this role I worked to develop clinical pathways and services to support the 77,000 patients cared for within S. Northants.I was jointly responsible for chairing the monthly locality meetings and lead the PLT Sessions to keep practices up to date with new developments and engage them in working together to find innovative ways or working together across S Northants. We were successful in engaging all our GPs to sign up for a joint bid against the Prime minister's Challenge Fund monies.I worked with health partners, Local Council and County Council to develop services for our local population. I lead on work liaising with local planners to ensure Section 106 monies were used to provide for health needs of new residents coming to Towcester within a large housing development. Although I have now resigned from this role I am excited to see how services will be developed within and around Towcester as the population grows. Show less
