- Operator for ULSD, Gasoil and Fuel Oil Physical markets.- Responsible for producing confirmations and contracts for business concluded.- Co-ordinate / Liaise with client operations staff to ensure the smooth running of contractual performance, making sure there are no discrepancies with the traders record of agreement. - Establish responsibilities and deadlines with client operators; e.g. Raising letters of credit and LOIs, Port nominations, Ship clearances and approvals, documentary and discharge instructions, Port restrictions and other time sensitive issues relevant to the deal.- Build and maintain strong client contact to ensure PVM are kept informed of all issues and problems which could potentially impact the smooth running of the deal, as and when they happen or in advance.- Provide support to client counterparts with any issues that arise, in particular communication based.- Liaise with Backoffice on deal completion to invoice accurately and on time. Ensure all documents and correspondence filed correctly before archiving. - Provide Shipping support for brokers, for example: Vessel tracking via AIS and other sources, Freight rate calculation, Voyage times and distances, Acquiring and checking ship details vs port restrictions- Assist brokers in tracking bids/offers and price changes during the Platts Market on Close- Distribute window summary for ULSD/Gasoil and Fuel oil to clients.- Quarterly broker commission analysis- Ad hoc market analysis and tracking of trends in the market on close.

Desk Assistant for Naphtha and Propane Swaps.Responsibilities included:- Clearing trades through Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and CME Clearport in a timely manner in order to comply with US regulations.- Working with counterparts in other broking houses where trades are co-brokered and facilitating trade input in the exchanges cooperatively- Drafting Excel spreadsheets comprising a comprehensive list of all trades, keeping a tally of all commissions generated and comparing and highlighting any discrepancies with records kept in the back office/accounts department- Liaising with the back office to ensure amendments are made where necessary.- Compilation of daily reports giving detailed numerical data to ascertain market share- Liaising ICE and CME exchanges via conference calls and email in order to facilitate trade support and input, generate trade amendments in the system, assist in the setup and registering of client accounts with PVM Oil Associates Ltd- Keeping brokers up to date on reforming exchange rules and regulations- Assisting with post-trade matters and responding to queries from clients- Maintaining an up to date electronic record of client accounts and information.
