I am able to effectively multitask, manage time and problem solve while working in a fast paced environment, while providing quality therapeutic services. This position has helped me develop the ability to work with and help children cope with difficult and disruptive behaviors, sensory problems and difficulties with emotional regulation. Other responsibilities include communicating with parents, team members, outside professionals and other co-workers to help determine the best course of treatment for each child. I have developed the ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and their families and am able to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations. I have also, learned how to work alongside a variety of personalities and to collaborate with families who may present different cultural ideals than my own.
