I was responsible for delivering the D-Day75 community project, which aimed to help local hard to reach communities discover their D-Day heritage and feel a part of the commemoration events. This involved developing close relationships with the local community and developing an engaging and inspiring learning programme that would ensure I delivered a series of tailored learning activities to help individuals engage with heritage in their own way. Was responsible for managing project volunteers and mentoring an apprentice and work experience student. Delivered the project on time and within a very tight budget.
