Emma joined the business when it was in real need of a revamp. Emma came to the table with a number of innovative ideas to give the brand a fresh look. Emma created a clear plan/strategy on how she wanted to do it and executed it to the highest quality with the resources available. She was always a great personality to have around the office and integrated well within my sales team. This added real value when getting buy in from her colleagues. I am sure you will go on to achieve great things and I am excited to see your career flourish.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Emma during her time at Samuel Knight! She captured the imagination of everyone at the business with her innovative and unique approach to all things 'Marketing'. Samuel Knight now has it's own identity, brand and rejuvenated social media platform. She's managed to increase brand awareness massively in her time at the business. Her passion and drive is like no other, and I hope to work with her again in the future. She's going to be a huge miss.

Emma is a fantastic, smart, enthusiastic marketing professional. I had the privilege to work closely with Emma at Samuel knight for over a year and I was extremely sad to see her go. Emma transformed the Samuel Knight brand into what it is today. I cannot say enough great things about Emma she was always there to support the entire Samuel Knight team, she finished projects on time and always went above and beyond on every assignment. We could always count on Emma to get the project done and she excelled while doing it. Emma is a marketing superstar and any company she works for in the future is VERY lucky to have her!

During my time with the business I gained an in-depth understanding of the oil and gas industry as well as their broad customer base in order to successfully manage and deliver events, and the supporting marketing collateral across the globe. Working to a budget and often within tight timeframes, I coordinated a range of physical and digital events throughout: • UK • Norway • USA • Australia • Kuala Lumpur Tailoring each event to the specific region, I was the main point of contact for internal teams and a range of outside vendors such as booth builders, printers and suppliers. I also designed in house collateral as well as graphic icons for the software, ensuring they were kept in line with the brand guidelines. Within my role I also ensured website content was regularly updated, working with a CRM system to manage campaigns for each event, create content and maintain social media pages. I was also heavily involved in the company’s rebrand, working closely with senior business stakeholders and subsequently various departments across the business to implement all aspects of the new brand and ensure standards were maintained across the board. Alongside my university studies, I began working as a Sales Assistant for the Danish store Flying Tiger, selling stationary and home ware. I had to quickly fit into the well-established team as we heavily relied upon one another during the challenging summer and Christmas periods. My main goals were to ensure daily targets were met and excellent customer service was maintained. During my time at Tiger I was given a range of responsibilities such as training the Christmas staff on the tills and in the stockroom. Show less

Before moving to university I worked in Brantano, a shop specialising in foot wear. I worked during the bustling back to school season, dealing mainly with measuring and fitting children’s school shoes, showing my ability to learn fast as well as having to be extremely patient with a number of customers during busy periods. As I was only there for the summer so I had to quickly establish myself into the closely-knit team, working together in order to create a memorable experience for each customer. Show less

During my college studies, I was offered an internship with Yorkshire Bank. My role as a Customer Service Officer meant that I had my own till on the counter to balance each day. This opportunity allowed me to grow in confidence when faced with difficult customers and situations, something I can carry with me into other roles. The following year I was invited back to take up my position at the bank, which gave me the chance to further develop my customer relations and communications skills gained the previous year.
