I worked with Emily at Superdry when she was recruited as assistant designer on our Performance sport team. Her portfolio was incredibly strong and from day one I could see just what an asset she would be to our team. Shortly after being hired her designer went on maternity leave - this left Emily working independently for part of the week alongside myself. She took this in her stride where most would have struggled. She needed very little referral, grasping all aspects of design and development swiftly and deftly it was for some of these reasons she was promoted shortly after and then again. Emily is incredibly articulate and capable with a strong taste level ideating beautiful elevated and commercial concepts and communicating these with ease to senior leaders and other stakeholders. Emily is an absolute joy to work with - Incredibly funny, calm under pressure, kind, collaborative, accurate and builds strong working relationships with both colleagues and suppliers. I would highly recommend Emily to any company looking to strengthen their design team - however I think her body of work and approach will speak for themselves.

Working in a fast-paced retail environment for a brand wholly committed to product, environment and people. Innovative products built for purpose that last. This role really helped me to further develop my passion for sustainable design and brands who challenge the norm.
