Throughout my 20 years in Human Resources and having owned my own HR Consultancy and Recruitment Agency for the best part of a decade I have had hundreds of desperate Managers and Business Owners reach out to me for advice on the “entitled and unreliable” Millennials disrupting their businesses. In my own business, I was having the exact same frustrations. And with Millennial’s set to make up over two thirds of the Australian workforce by 2025 the issue is not going away any time soon. Generation Y and Z are our future leaders and managers. So, I decided to spend years researching our ‘problem children’ and have now self-funded my own research to find out what makes Millennials as a generation and in the workforce so different.
