  Funded by 2 year grant with Houston Endowment, I worked with Newspring to build stronger relationships with the art teachers in local SBISD schools, recruited local artists to go into the schools and talk to students about careers in arts, planned annual student art auction, where 100% of proceeds went directly back to participating students, and helped establish the Newspring Art Studio that served as a resource & continuing education to students in at-risk parts of community.
