Emily set up an empty shop scheme in LB Sutton - a space that artists and local groups could use for exhibitions and we connected through that when I applied to exhibit in January 2010. I became the co-ordinator of the space which is still being used by local community groups. Sutton Community Art Space is a great scheme and without Emily's creative vision this little shop would still be yet another empty shop. I found Emily's vibrant attitude, conscientious work ethic and proactive creative mind most enjoyable to work with.
