Bio
Rachael Darden Harper
Emily was hired at the Co-op after the previous designer quit without notice. We were set to open five new businesses in three months and had recently unrolled a rebrand and new website. Things were busy. She seamlessly stepped into the role and provided next-level design expertise. It was like she had been a part of the team all along. One of the things that is so unique about Emily is that she is offers the combination of many qualities that tend to contradict one another in the workplace: she's an artist and has tremendous technical design skills; she takes complete ownership over a project and approaches every team with an adaptable can-do attitude; she is extremely detail-oriented and also can look at the overall strategy of strengthening brand affinity. From digital content to ads, outreach collateral to menus, she gets the job done. The fact that she is an absolute delight to work with is an extra bonus. I cannot recommend Emily enough. After I left my role at the Co-op, I hired her to design the logo and style guide for a side business I started. Through it all, she has met and surpassed every single expectation or request.
