• Production Secretary - Talkback Pilot

  As part of my placement I have taken on the role of Production Secretary on a Pilot show with Talkback. On top of tasks I have done in previous roles, I have taken sole charge of completing our call sheet and booking our team travel. I have also assisted our Production Coordinator with booking hotels and contributor travel, which has been quite complicated due to factors such as train strikes.

  As part of my placement I took on the role of Production Secretary on Series 22 of QI. Additional to tasks I had done in previous roles I helped the Production Coordinator working on things such as call sheets, schedules and travel bookings.

• Production Secretary - Celebrity Juice Series 27

  As part of my placement, I took on the role of Production Secretary on the finale series of Celebrity Juice. I helped logging POs and receipts/invoices, acting as the main point of contact for the art department and booking couriers for them. I also organised the wrap party by gathering quotes for what the production wanted and negotiating deals with suppliers. I was also responsible for organising production guests with our audience team and putting together/sending over ticket information.

  As part of my placement, my role on this show was to transcribe all of the rushes from shoots and help fact checking VOs.

  As part of my placement on my apprenticeship, I got experience at studio working as a day runner on Never Mind the Buzzcocks. My main role was talent running, also doing general floor running and stand ins where needed.

  Having been on placement with Fremantle sine July 2022, when funding for my apprenticeship with Screenskills ran out they took over my contract to complete my training. My placement has been set up as an in-house staff contract with me moving about productions within the company. I have continued to upkeep my apprenticeship training with JGA.   I started my apprenticeship under employment by Screenskills and left when Fremantle took over the funding and running of my training. Before going onto my placement with Talkback, I undertook 6 weeks of training about the production coordinator role and the general industry with All Spring Media, and we have completed further training weeks in between placements with them and JGA.
