I was on the frontline of patient care by collecting specimens from patients and refering those specimens to the proper channels for further testing. I was also able to discover the world of pathology, where I assisted on tissue collection from live and deceased samples. I spear-headed a program along with the laboratory manager to secure our services with several nursing homes.
