Read and interpret Insurance policies, coverages, endorsements, etc. Produce and send out letters to clarify coverages, coverage issues, or necessary components of the claim to all involved parties throughout the claim process. Monitor and stay within compliance with state and federal insurance laws and guidelines. Conduct investigations on auto accidents, collect pertinent evidence, and make liability and coverage decisions on claims. I started this position on October 5th of 2020 and by July 2021 I had received a promotion from entry-level Claims Representative, handling basic claims, to a Claims Representative I, handling complex claims and coverage issues.
