Embedded C developer, part of the motorsport data logging team. Responsible for continuous product improvement, designing new features, and maintaining the current code bases. This includes writing applications, device drivers, and utilities for our proprietary RTOS. My main project as a graduate developer is software for a new FlexRay coprocessor on our latest data logging platforms. Tackling the steep learning curve, I have continually delivered the various stages of this project to impress both our key client, and internal stakeholders. Received a commendation for this work. Key Points: - Embedded C and Python software development. - Cross-team collaboration with PC-software developers, hardware & FPGA engineers, and test engineers. - Developing real-time systems with our proprietary OS, FreeRTOS, and bare-metal. - Writing supporting software in Python for system testing and C code-generation. - Experience with FlexRay, TCP/IP, DoIP, UDS, Vector CANalysers/CAPL.

Internship with Cosworth Electronics Ltd prior to starting my final year of university study. Embedded C development for a new hardware test device for simulating vehicle signals for motorsport data logging devices. Sole developer on the project, learning on-the-job to deliver a first iteration of the product in just three months. Involved full system design, taking initial requirements to design the embedded software & hardware architecture, schematics, and PCB. Developed embedded code for both bare-metal and FreeRTOS platforms.
