I comprehensively manage the operations of all Gilded Balloon’s venues during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Responsibilities include recruitment and training of casual staff, establishing the IT infrastructure and implementing and enforcing policies and procedures in line with Health & Safety and Licensing legislation. Additionally, I oversee HR processes for the year-round staff teams including recruitment, contracting and overseeing the implementation of HR policies. During the running of the events I direct the customer journey through the venues, bars and events.

I served as main point of contact for clients, caterers and staff teams, in the organisation and management of commercial and private events including performances and conferences at the venue. Achievements - I was promoted to the Manager position after working with the organisation for 6 years during holidays from College. - I was asked to step into the role of Event Manager while they were on leave.
