In this role I am developing my research skills, by producing pieces on current affairs, commercial awareness and topical issues in the news. This role has allowed me to network with new people and work with others to produce resources and information which can support those aspiring to work in the legal industry. This was an incredible opportunity to visit the London office and meet some Clifford Chance trainees and the Graduate recruitment team. I thoroughly enjoyed the workshops, including application support, understanding more about CC, assessment centre preparation and how to approach a case study. Meeting new people and developing connections was definitely a highlight of the day. I am extremely grateful to walk away from the day with a mentor from the firm who has, and continues to be, hugely supportive in my progression towards a legal career. Show less

I was involved in the hearing and the final judgement against Greensill Capital Managament (UK) Limited. This meant being involved with redacting documents for the press, reading over documents needed for court and taking notes on the hearing. This helped me develop a greater understanding of the process in an employment tribunal. Additionally reading through other cases involving wrongful dismissal and drafting a contract, hugely developed my interest in employment law.
