I run groups teaching students to manage their anxiety, anger, changes within their family units, building and increasing girls’ self esteem, improving all forms of communication, and teaching student and organizational skills. I create and build upon community connections to bring resources to campus (i.e. therapy dogs, Somadome [world’s first meditation pod], the local community college, etc.) to help students realize their dreams and create a path to success to realize them. I create surveys and track all forms of data to ensure and implement equality and equity for all students. I provide individual student counseling, create and lead staff presentations, and implement restorative justice mediations between quarreling students. I assist with creating classes that fit within the master schedule with student placement, schedule changes, and new student orientations. Show less
