      * During my time at Cummins Generator Technologies I often worked independently and once trained, under minimum supervision. My tasks included: Running a weekly sales analysis report to inform the plant manager whether sales were better or worse than forecast for the month to date. Preparing and posting to Oracle Financials a number of journals. Preparing presentations to be used in Operations Reviews where figures were reported to bosses in the US. Attending business partnering meetings with department managers, where I would analyse and report on their actual expenditure, update the forecast as required and help with any queries. Creating a freight costing tool with minimum supervision to assist with forecasting for 2015. * I also took part in training for an electronic reconciliation tool in Oracle (Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM)) * During August I assisted the finance team with the Annual Operating Plan for 2015 which involved two offsite days, here I got to see my costing tool put into use and how it helped with the process. * Additionally, I trained the new annual placement in my roles which would become her responsibility after I left. * My team working skills have improved as I work in a small team of three who collaborate with a team of fourteen. * Frequent use of Microsoft Excel and Power point allows me to use my ICT skills and improve them greatly. * Regular use of Oracle has enabled me to gain knowledge of a different accounting software package. * I took the opportunity to present to my team which improved my confidence when talking and presenting to a group of people. * Overall, working in a large company enabled me to gain practical experience to fit alongside knowledge gained from my studies.
