  Center for Health, Environment and Justice (CHEJ) is a nonprofit organization focused on giving a voice to communities suffering from incidents of pollution and contamination. CHEJ is working on a number of different national issues as well, such as protecting the health of our children, and supporting the communities being bombarded by natural gas development. As an intern, I assisted with research and data analysis for environmental health issues both for specific communities as well as for the national campaigns. I edited and updated annual publications, and wrote summaries of community activity for the CHEJ newsletter.
