As an Event Host it was my responsibility to lead the events held on site and to ensure that they were hosted to the highest possible service and hospitality standards. During my time here I gained knowledge of how to lead, supervise and prepare a range of different events whilst being able to work in time limited, high pressure situations at the same time as keeping a high level of attention to detail and being able to see the bigger picture to create moments that matter for every guest. My time at Topgolf helped me gain communication and leadership skills due to having to constantly keep the other departments on site informed of all the timings and events going on, preparing all events and items needed in advance to the start time and date and hosting them with hospitality being the main focus so all guests can enjoy their experience with us, and helping to train new associates to run their own events. This role was fast paced and required me to be on my toes at all times as quick problem solving was key if any issues arose during strict time frames for preparation and hosting.
