In my current role at Speech Graphics I assist with a wide variety of rigging and integration challenges, some of these include:- Debugging incoming client rigs for setup with our tools.- Configuring character rigs to work with our main product SGX. This requires an in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy and the Facial Action Coding System.- Using Powershell, C#, Python and MEL to automate various tasks across Maya, Blender and our Speech Graphics animation toolset.- Putting together sample project integrations of SG-Com for clients (our real-time animation system). This requires setting up cameras, lighting and animation baking in both Unreal and Unity. - Configuring SGX to work with Unreal Engine MetaHumans and assisting with further SGX integration in Unreal Engine.- Model integration, optimization and shader support for Rapport Platform which runs in WebGL and uses .GLB format for 3D models for which there is currently no native exporter in Maya.- Creating rigs from scratch for use on the Rapport Platform, including retopology, UV and PBR texture creation.- Creating marketing/promotional materials for Speech Graphics using Arnold render engine and Adobe suite.- Filing bug tickets relating to the SGX toolset and occasional documentation.- Attending Customer support and sales calls to address questions they may have about the software/pipeline.
