Photos are candid of children in action and are often accompanied by captions or explanatory text. -actively support and promote our school’s social media marketing, and on a volunteer basis have posted to Facebook and Instagram and captured in photographs parent involvement and authentic Montessori in action at all levels—Toddler through Middle School—at our school. -serve on the Arbor Montessori School Board. I have served on the Head of School Search Committee, Primary Guide interview Committee, Diversity Committee, and Community Relations Committee.   -Guide of an All-Day class (7:30 am - 6 pm) of 28-31 students ages 2 1/2-7. -In addition to writing a class newsletter, I posted photos and text to a Facebook page I created to connect the parents of children in my class to the work the children were doing in the classroom which proved at that time to be an extremely effective method of parent education, community building, and communication. -wrote a blog titled MontessoriEmily sharing my own experiences as a Montessori child, parent and teacher and connecting parents to resources and support via photos and writing. -wrote stories and took photographs for our school’s newsletter publication. -held a workshop for teachers on how to create an effective class newsletter.
