After having a couple of years of driving experience under my belt, I decided it was time to become a delivery driver for Tesco. I wanted to be able to offer more to our customers. Vehicle Loader
-
Jan 2019 - Aug 2021
After being an order picker for just over a year, I decided to become a vehicle loader after getting my driver's licence. I loaded vehicles efficiently and safely while ensuring that items were secure to be able to prevent damage for high-volume deliveries. This also meant that I worked in collaboration with the delivery team to assure delivery vehicles leave the depot at the designated time.

Order Picker
-
Nov 2017 - Jan 2019
I joined Tesco at the age of 16, working every Saturday and Sunday while studying at college, fulfilling orders for customers who ordered through Tesco.Com. This role allowed me to work individually while part of a team to ensure that all orders were picked correctly by a certain time to ensure delivery vans were able to leave the depot on time. If items that a customer wanted were missing from the shop for, it was also important to pick suitable substitutes for the customer so that they can still intend to use the product.
