My experience includes working at APG Sintered Metals where I was and Accounting/Finance Intern. During my time at APG I assisted in the development of an operational profit and loss sheet by allocating scrap, inventory adjustments, and operating variances by organizing expenses into more meaningful components and determining variable and fixed costs. I created cost sheets for inventory valuation of estimates versus actual performance through looking at machine hours, set up hours, products per hour, and efficiency per hour. I prepared expense budgets and forecasts for upcoming years and examined the inflation of raw material prices over a span of years.

My job at Alpha Precision Sintered Metals includes checking powdered metal parts for damaged, unusable parts. Every part differs in what qualifies it as damaged, but I was always required to look for dents and cracks. With every part comes a detail oriented checklist of what I need to look for. I had to pay great attention to detail while checking the intricate parts in order to ensure that I was approving quality material. While working at St. Marys Chevrolet, I handled the phone system, and scanned documents into the computer system. When customers called, I would greet them, answer any question they might have, or transfer them to the department to best fit their needs. I also have experience inputting invoices.
