I was hired to support women and children at the House of Healing, specifically related to children's health, parenting, and schooling. This job consisted of a wide variety of tasks and my day looked different every day. It could encompass anywhere from transporting women/children to needed appointments, to planning and leading parenting courses, to supporting children in virtual school, to organizing and preparing for baby showers. I really enjoyed this role and all of my colleagues, but did not return after my second son's birth.
