I worked as a Team Leader during my first year of NCS. I myself had been on the programme as a young person in 2016, so I understood the importance of it in raising young people's confidence and helping them to meet new people their own age, additionally to supporting their local community. I worked on the programme for four weeks, then supported another team for a following week, followed by another 2 week programme in 2021 as a Team Leader again. I worked as a Team Leader during my first year of NCS.
