At the Colangelo College of Business (CCOB) I am also responsible for scheduling meetings, interviews, and events, while cross checking administration personnel schedules. A huge part of working at the CCOB front desk is that I am responsible for greeting all guests who enter the CCOB. This is an important task because it is a simple task that can make a huge impact on those who enter the doors. When students and guests enter into the building, I am responsible for helping them find classrooms and offices throughout the college. Within this job, I have to use Microsoft Office, as the utilization of these programs are essential in all areas of my work. I have professional interactions with the CCOB administration team, faculty, students, and other community members. These interactions are both face-to-face, through the Outlook, and the front desk telephone. Additional tasks are assigned daily, such as utilizing Stensul for mass communications, running and monitoring the CCOB Instagram, creating social media posts on Canva, organizing Skedda, and fulfilling faculty requests. As an administrative assistant, I assisted with any new loans for approval as well as assigning deals to our team of Loan officers on the sales floor. It is a fast paced environment, and requires skills such as organization, time management, and communication.
