I worked under the Department of Earth, Environmental and Geographical Sciences to run multiple lab sessions for two semesters teaching both in person and online remote classes. The lab that I taught was for GEOG 108 which gave students an introduction to the processes and interactions of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere. Along with teaching a short lesson on the contents of each lab, I would answer questions about the course material, run review sessions, and mark labs and lab exams. Hunting Guide

Jun 2014 - Oct 2019
Mervyns Yukon Outfitting is my family’s remote wilderness hunting & fishing company which I grew up working for. I spent every summer in the mountains in remote bush plane or horseback access only camps working for, and with my parents and siblings. My responsibilities in the early season varied from leading pack strings of 5-50 horses over multiple day trail rides, to wrangling the horses every morning from the valleys where they are let to run loose. During the hunting season I would work with one other member of our crew to run a remote camp where we guided and ensured the safety of 1-2 clients for week long periods. Tasks included wrangling a string of horses, cooking for the client, and going out on daily hunting trips in all ranges of weather. Other year long tasks included working on my parents hay farm, cutting firewood for camps, working a booth at conventions, and snowmobiling into their trapline and on winter hunts. Show less
