In my role of Communications and Culture Manager I was entrusted to oversee all areas of Marketing, Communications, Culture and Human Resources for the business. This role included managing a team of Business Development Managers, Graphic Designer, Marketing Executive and Personal Assistant as well as founding and chairing the company Culture Committee. As Communications Manager I would oversee the day to day operations of all the Marketing and Communications for Brydens Lawyers including budget forecasting and review, marketing and advertising strategies and implementation, brand compliance, corporate partnerships, digital and social media management, event management and campaign management as well as reviewing and presenting all analytical reporting for campaign performance and success. As employed as the Culture Manager I was tasked with the responsibility to conduct all interviews of staff, create and implement a revised induction process, review and ensure compliance across all company policies, review the current company culture amongst peers and provide areas of improvement to Senior Management on a monthly basis, build and chair the company Culture Committee, create and implement a company uniform policy as well as oversee a number of positive culture initiatives. Wakeling Automotive is the umbrella brand to a group of companies – Paul Wakeling Motor Group, Camden Valley Motor Group, Moss Vale Motor Group, Wakeling Automotive Wholesale Direct, Camden Cycles and Tyre Plus Campbelltown. As the Group Marketing Manager, I oversaw the marketing, branding and sponsorships for the following brands across five dealership locations – Holden, HSV, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki and RAM. I also managed the marketing materials for the acquired tyre shop, Tyre Plus Campbelltown and bicycle store Camden Cycles. In my role I managed five staff members within my department, an Assistant Manager, Graphic Designer, Digital Marketing Coordinator and two Marketing Coordinators, all of whom worked full time within the Marketing department based at Campbelltown. My role as Group Marketing Manager included overseeing the company advertising budgets per vehicle brand and location, branding, communications, compliance, advertising, sponsorships, ambassadors, digital marketing, photography, online sales and lead generation. The core focus of this role was to work with the sales and service departments to generate brand recognition and recall and fundamentally draw additional leads to the business that would in turn convert to sales and profit for the business. Within this role I also had a strong passion for company culture and Human Resources and was able to begin to practice my education within Human Resource Management. I was fortunate enough to implement the Employee of the Month incentive across 300 staff members, create and introduce the first company wide staff magazine that was issued quarterly, create and implement uniform the first uniform policy as well as manage the annual staff awards night. Pro Auto Group is the overarching company to Clintons Toyota, Macarthur BMW, South Coast BMW and Lexus of Macarthur. In the role of Marketing Manager it was my core focus to generate quality leads to the business as well as ensure the compliance in all advertising set by the manufacturers' standards. I was awarded Toyota Excellence for Brand Compliance for both 2014 and 2015 during my time as Marketing Manager. This role involved managing all marketing plans, advertising, budget and expense monitoring, B2B networking, digital advertising, social media management, sponsorships, event management, new vehicle event launches and strategic planning. As Marketing Manager I was also responsible for all graphic content which was created in-house by myself as well as all videos which I filmed, edited and advertised online via social media and Youtube. In my time as Marketing Manager I was fortunate enough to oversee the launch of BMW brand to the area of Macarthur. Pro Auto Group successfully acquired the BMW brand and it was my role to ensure the local community were introduced to the new dealership and it was positively received amongst the community. This introduction included creating a strategic marketing and advertising plan, sourcing and promoting local and national influencers as well as planning an event launch in line with the the new 7series launch. Rashay’s Casual Dining is a national restaurant chain operating for over 20 years and over 30 restaurant locations. During my time as Marketing and Sponsorship Manager I managed the Marketing and Communications department, the Graphic Design Team as well as the Call Centre team. I reported directly to the company Director and CFO and managed all branding and advertising for both company owned restaurants and franchised stores. One of my achievements within this role was implementing Rashay’s first major partnership with the NRL as Major Sponsor of Canterbury Bulldogs in 2014 and ensured this sponsorship was executed to maximize branding opportunities. The core focus of this role was to manage budget and spend, identify all branding opportunities, create and execute the marketing plan – annual, quarterly and monthly, negotiate, book and provide content for all advertising, set a branding guideline and ensure uniformity across all restaurants, manage all mystery shoppers, manage all digital advertising and social media, manage all partnerships and oversee the day to day operations of the call centre.
