Although not a full time job, I handle the accounting duties for my grandmother's private caregivers. My weekly tasking includes tracking timecards and disbursing weekly paychecks. In addition, I maintain accounting spreadsheets which are required to create quarterly tax payments and labor reports to the California Employment Development Department. I was a student instructor for Cost Accounting. My responsibilities included holding weekly sessions to reinforce the concepts taught in the professor's lectures during which I guided students through sample problems and study guides. I also had weekly office hours for students who needed one-on-one instruction. I was a student instructor for Cost Accounting. Soccer Coach
-
Jan 2013 - May 2013
I was a coach of 10 year old girls for the Los Alamitos AYSO region. As well as teaching basic soccer skills, I taught the girls how to work together as a team and maintain a positive attitude whether winning or losing. As the head coach, I was in charge of making sure everyone got an equal amount of playing time and was also responsible for interacting with the players' parents. This experience taught me leadership skills that will serve me well throughout life. I was a coach of 10 year old girls for the Los Alamitos AYSO region.
