Day Camp Director
-
May 2021 - Aug 2021
Empowering cabin leaders to lead Vacation Bible School at various churches around the state of Iowa, I was in charge of communicating with the churches we served, assisting in writing day camp curriculum, overseeing and encouraging my team of cabin leaders, leading worship, trouble-shooting, and giving extra support to cabin leaders who worked with challenging groups of kids. Flexibility was key in this position, as every church we served had a different group of kids with different needs and slightly different schedules.

Cabin Leader
-
May 2019 - Aug 2019
As a cabin leader, my primary responsibility was sharing the Gospel with young girls in a variety of ways. I spent lots of time with them, from waking them up in the morning to having conversations with them at meals, from leading Bible studies and devotionals to hanging out with them at the pool, my job was to pour into the girls in my cabin and show them the love of Jesus.
