I own Services at Ooyala - how we maintain and grow our customers technical solutions, generate customer delight, showcase our products, implement top-notch projects, manage partners and 3rd parties, and make a profit doing it, all falls under my remit. Talent attraction and retention through discovering interesting problems, and solving them well, is key to this.Specific responsibilities include:- Recruit and retain a high-performing technical team (75 in-house across the globe, variable outsourcing).- Own the global Services P&L.- Define and drive KPIs to ensure Services is lean, effective and a trusted partner to our customers.- Manage partners and vendors to ensure we can scale our deployment capabilities with demand.- Ensuring the Services team work closely and effectively with clients to deliver successful projects that can be easily maintained - these span 3 months to 2 years and range in value up to multi-million $. As Global Product Director, I own the Media Logistics Product and lifecycle - how we target prospects, draw them in, close the deal, deliver customer delight, have a top-notch technical platform and continue to grow our relationships fall within my remit. The IPRS team work in partnership with the Global Research desk to implement thousands of indices with trillions of dollars invested against them, and provide client end users a best of breed portfolio analysis and analytics platform.• Successfully created and sustained a team of 7 Scrum Masters, who provided PM/BA function ensuring consistent and flexible Agile processes across a global development organisation.• Evangelised regularly with group Directors and MDs, presenting succinctly on process changes, successes and roadmap.• Proliferated Agile and waterfall programme management across a global team of 100 researchers, developers, architects and testers, with project budgets well in excess of $20M. Technology covers SQL, API, C# and Java development. • Drove Agile adoption across Barclays Global Technology as a founder of the Barclays Agile Community of Practice, covering Scrum, Lean, Kanban and other Agile practices. • Delivered global strategic change initiatives to time and budget, for example in the areas of global application redundancy and Agile training and career development.

- Manage a team of five Customer Support Engineers, covering over 40 active customer relationships. Responsible for project management, training and personnel development. - Support and consult on customer deployments in data centres, Cloud infrastructure, cable and core optical (OTN) networks. - Communicate with and present to sales prospects on the company and product families; responsible for driving the campaign up to Metaswitch obtaining technical preference.
