I plan the agendas for our App Promotion Summit event series, with conferences running in Berlin, London, NYC and San Francisco covering app growth topics across the funnel from acquisition to retention. My role includes researching key topics and trends, organising the agenda and session content and recruiting top tier app marketers to speak in a range of talks, workshops and panels. Alongside the in-person element of these events, we also run a digital element which is run over 3 days covering ASO, user acquisition and app product and engagement. Also responsible for organising the judging panel for our two awards ceremonies, The App Growth Awards and the App Developer Awards.

During my time with Ascend Global Media (previously Maddox Events), I was responsible for recruiting speakers for the Women in Technology World Series and Women in Construction World Series portfolios. Working across the globe (including Europe, Africa and the USA) recruiting senior level executives, aligning them to specific agenda content, being their first point of contact for any queries and making sure they were fully prepared for their speaking engagement. In December 2019, I became lead conference producer for Women in Tech Scotland (September 2020), a 750 delegate event. This process involved: - Carrying out desk and telephone research about the Scottish technology ecosystem. - Liaising with previous speakers and delegates to tailor region specific content. - Conducting extensive competitor research and creating a product plan for the event. - Creating a day-long conference agenda, with six tracks each focusing on a different theme, alongside recruiting all of the speakers. - Working with the commercial team to pass on any leads for potential sponsorship. - Planning the networking and onsite activities to make the event an unforgettable experience. Following the change in the events landscape, and a pivot into online content, I have now gained experience in: - Creating online content for a range of webinars, blog pieces, podcasts and speaker Q+A’s. - Hosting over 20 webinars and creating content for even more.
