Now currently in her third year at KIPP, she has assumed the role of team lead and math content lead.   Rockledge Elementary School During Emily's senior year of college at the University of Maryland, College Park, she served as a grade three teaching intern. Over the course of the invaluable and educational year, Emily played a large, and eventually full-time, role in the classroom. As an intern, she collaborated, composed and taught lessons for all content areas. She focused on boosting math subtraction scores by developing a successful intervention group.
