  This fixed term role involved responsibility for the day-to-day management of The Family 100 Research Project. I led analytical work for the Mission and communicated Project findings from this innovative Auckland based study via reports, speaking engagements, press releases and articles. Family 100 followed 100 families living in severe hardship over the course of a year. The study was led by the Auckland City Mission in collaboration with researchers from Waikato University, Massey University and the University of Auckland, alongside Mission staff, in order to better understand what stops people moving out of poverty. The aim was to use project findings in order challenge the pervasive rhetoric regarding families living in hardship and to advocate for services that better meet their needs.
