For the past 7 years I have been honing a successful side business offering bespoke house portrait illustration services. With an accurate eye for detail, scale and perspective (coming from a background in Architecture and Spatial Design) clients can see their homes re-visualised in a beautiful hand drawn artistic representation. During my time spent at Liquorice, a Melbourne based digital & brand agency, I covered an array of jobs from handling internal communication and general studio admin tasks to liaising with suppliers, project scheduling, planning work capacity and managing workflow. Throughout the year I was able problem solve, work under my own initiative and improve upon my communication skills. Illustration Artist
-
May 2014 - Sep 2016
Creation of images and illustrations for competitions and presentations for Foster buildings or products. The work consisted of preparing and developing CAD files into photoshop documents, working to acute and precise detail, covering a number of artistic styles for a number of projects both large and small across the entire world. My understanding of scale and compositional techniques relating to the virtual environment helped to both connect me to not only the design and the architects vision but enabled me to have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well (both verbally and in writing) with a range of people across the organisation, including clients, architects, engineers, project managers and so on. Within my time at Fosters I was able to improve upon my ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Last minute requests from clients was a constant theme and were always met with precise decision and a flexible attitude. Show less
