    • Director of Operations
      • Aug 2017 - Jun 2018

As the Director of Operations for the Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving program at Penn State University I played various roles. During the season I planned and coordinated all team travel including food, lodging, and transportation. While traveling with the team I was responsible for making sure all travel logistics were taken care of and things ran smoothly while we were on the road. When we were not traveling I worked on special projects for the coaches as well as monitoring the budget and completing expense reports. During the off-season I assisted with recruiting efforts. I did so by completing all pre and post visit paperwork for recruits. Additionally, I set up meetings for each recruit and put together individual itineraries for their visit. Show less

    • Intern- Women's Basketball
      • Jan 2017 - Jun 2017

As the Intern for the Liberty University Women's Basketball team I had the opportunity to work directly under the teams Director of Operations. This was a great learning experience for me as I gained experience outside of the sport I knew (swimming). In my time working with the Women's Basketball team I assisted in planning for team travel by coordinating food, lodging, and transportation. I also had the opportunity to help out during the Women's Big South Conference Tournament that was hosted at Liberty University. This allowed me to understand the behind the scenes work that goes in to planning events. Additionally, I helped the Director of Operations prepare for and run basketball camp. As the assistant to the Camp Director I helped with all of the logistics such as marketing, registration, housing, meals, and supervision of campers. Show less

    • Gate Coordinator
      • Aug 2015 - Apr 2017

In my role as the Gate Coordinator I worked in the Gate 3 office in the School of Education at Liberty University. The Gate offices are in charge of ensuring students are meeting the necessary requirements in the Education program in order to complete their degree. In the Gate 3 office I worked with the Masters students to ensure that they were submitting their student teaching application on time with all the necessary requirements and then I worked to place them at a school for their student teaching course. This role required me to work with students on a daily basis whether it was meeting in person, contacting them via email, or speaking with them over the phone. Through this role I gained customer service skills. Additionally, this role required me to meet deadlines and have strict attention to detail. As a Gate Coordinator I was responsible for reviewing hundreds of student teaching applications each semester. Each application had several sections to review which required me to pay attention to the details in order to ensure all requirements were met. With each semester we had application deadlines to be met as well as placement deadlines. Once a students application was approved we had to work with school districts all over the country in order to set up a student teaching placement. This required a lot of follow-up calls and emails to make sure that our student teaching contract was received and approved. Show less
