Affiliate of the global affordable housing organization that’s the largest private homebuilder in the U.S. and second-most recognized social service non-profit.Managed all aspects of construction planning and implementation for new construction and smaller rehab/renovation projects for qualified Frederick County residents. Operated as project coordinator, site supervisor, field foreman, and teacher/coach for volunteer groups. Responsible for all site safety and installations, as well as procedural and paperwork flow. Sought product donations and proposal discounts to meet tight budget constraints. Expanded the affiliate’s safety program and created procedural construction templates. Headed the affiliate’s Women Build program, committee meetings, and events. Handled all Volunteer Coordination during the first eight months of employment and served as Direct Supervisor for an AmeriCorps member during the last six months.PROJECT TIMELINE: Five rehab projects in downtown Frederick (March-May 2015).
