Emily is a joy to work with. Not just because of her design chops, but also because she's a great teammate that makes the creative process as fun and collaborative as it should be. She creates and designs thoughtfully with purpose, drive, and instincts that are backed by loads of experience.

Collaborated with product development and sales teams to bring humorous products to both the retail and ecomm worlds. Juggled working on various sub-brands in a fast paced environment. Utilized a wide array of creative skills and wrote a good amount of puns.LEAD UI/UX & VISUAL DESIGNER for Prank-O.com. Designed and managed the development of a new website in a short timeframe due to the companies debut on Shark Tank. Owned projects as lead designer and worked with the product development team to communicate issues and changes to the factories producing the items. Products included: phone accessories, apparel, stationary, novelty gifts, and wrap. Products sold in Target, Kohls, Walmart, Francescas, Patina, Amazon, and more. LEAD LIFESTYLE DESIGNER & PHOTOGRAPHER for Drink Wisconsinbly. Designed content for goods sold on ecomm for Wisconsin’s leading lifestyle brand. I led projects for the Design For Good initiative utilizing design thinking and a human centered design approach. Our team worked on projects that created positive social impact in the community. In addition to creating designs and working as a creative director, I also led meetings, wrote grant applications, established relationships with local organizations, and communicated with the Design Impact chair of AIGA MN. Worked as a lead designer on a variety of identity and marketing tactics. Problem solved and designed for projects including branding, advertising, publication, environmental design, packaging, and web design. Took initiative to art direct photography and copy, communicate with clients and vendors, and collaborate with fellow team members to create effective solutions. Would occasionally play ping pong and always remembered to water the office plants. Worked as a lead designer on a variety of identity and marketing tactics. Designed promotional and informational materials, working with coordinators for UW-Stout's Aquatics, Health & Fitness Center, Intramural Sports, Stout Adventures, and Sports Clubs. Worked within deadlines on multiple projects while balancing creative exploration and identity guidelines. The office I shared with three fellow student designers was windowless so I bought a window from a thrift store and made it look like we could see the outside. Strong advocate for culture, morale, and trees.
