During a working holiday trip to Australia I settled in Sydney. After originally working behind the bar at the Australian Heritage Hotel, I moved up to help organise the functions and events for the venue during my time here. This included making arrangements for a clients stay in the hotel as well as liaising with potential clients for their private functions and events at the venue. As a part of a close knit team, I helped run and oversaw daily shifts in the busy quirky cafe. Here I cashed up the till, organised staff and was responsible for the locking and opening up of the cafe. I also managed bookings for private parties as well as cooking and prepping afternoon tea.
