Reliable, helpful and organised - that is what immediately comes to my mind when I think about Emily. I had a pleasure to work with her within the same busy department, but in different teams and I am impressed by how calm and cool she can be when things get hectic. No matter how busy she was, I could always count on her. I have no doubts Emily can be a great asset to any team.

I am joining Archant Dialogue's digital team and working on its latest e-commerce product. This is the first of its kind for the company and is a platform that is expected to grow the business for the future. The aim of the product is to pre-populate a new part of the Badminton Horse Trials website with exhibitor product for the purpose of opening a digital marketplace for those not attending the event. 140,000 people attend the event, and 1 million view the website, so there is a massive potential for opportunity. Working directly with customers of the platform, key tasks will range from sourcing appropriate retailers, aiding the 'on-boarding' and banking process, working with the CMS, tracking sales, and understanding the analytics to drive new sales and digital marketing. I will be demonstrating the benefits of this fantastic opportunity to exhibitors and working with multiple departments in a busy communications agency. Show less

To provide real time information to individual staff and their academic managers, the University has purchased a current research information system called PURE from the software company Atira. PURE allows data about research projects, publications, research students and enterprise projects to be displayed in one place on a web-portal rather than having to access many different databases. Working closely with UEA Research and Enterprise Services and the UEA marketing team my role is to take the lead in developing the detail of a publicity campaign for PURE including: Devise a detailed implementation plan for the promotion of PURE to the end users. Planning a series of workshops and lunchtime sessions to demonstrate the system. Designing posters, promotional materials and webpages to create awareness of PURE and its uses. This would also involve getting materials printed and ready for use. Assisting with the delivery of workshops. Monitoring the reach and uptake of the awareness raising sessions and materials, and devising new approaches as necessary. Collating, evaluating and reporting feedback on the marketing campaign to the PURE management team. Show less

During my placement at Friends of the Earth Charity, I designed the Mootro Newspaper. The 'Join the Moovement' Campaign was developed whilst I was there which was to highlight the hidden link between meat and diary from British farms to wildlife and rainforest destruction in South America. The Campaign called on commuters to 'join the moovement' and call on new laws to prevent British farmers feeding their stock on imported soy. The play on the words 'Metro' to 'Mootro' was to capture peoples attention. The charity workers dressed as cows and held the newspaper as a prop to promote the campaign. www.freshmilk2011.co.uk/EmilyStocks Show less
