Under Emily Anne’s direction, the… Show more Prior to launching A for Arizona as a stand alone 501(c)(3), Emily Anne served as the Chief Executive Officer at the Arizona Chamber Foundation and Executive Director of the A for Arizona initiative. Emily Anne played a leading role in growing the Foundation from a two-person research shop into a thriving non-profit with over two dozen employees and three major initiatives including A for Arizona, Chamber Business News, and the Arizona Industry Fellows. Under Emily Anne’s direction, the Foundation published critical policy briefs and research on topics dedicated to expanding economic opportunity in Arizona such as education reform, water and the Drought Contingency Plan, and trade with a focus on the USMCA and its impact on Arizona. A few key responsibilities: Report to and work closely with Board of Directors to seek their involvement in policy decisions, fundraising, and increase the overall visibility of ACF throughout the State. Manage the execution of ACF’s institutional goals and priorities. Represent ACF at meetings and events in Arizona and nationally. Establish and maintain relationships with various organizations to strategically enhance ACF’s mission. Write and speak in state and national media on behalf of ACF. Create and operate Foundation budget, ensuring maximum resource utilization and maintenance of a positive financial position, and oversee general operations of $5 million budget. Fundraise and develop other resources necessary to support ACF’s mission. Hire, retain, and oversee 30 staff and primary consultants contributing to ACF.
