As a librarian in the Art & Music Department, I assist patrons with general reference questions as well as providing special expertise in questions on art, music, sports, and recreation. I host a weekly ESL Conversation Club, a monthly drawing group, and organize a wide variety of other arts-related programming including exhibits of work by local artists. I also select materials for this part of the library's collection. I organized this delivery service, the brainchild of Mercedes Kraus, where subscribers received packages of zines made by women. I selected zines, created a zine of interviews with their creators, assembled and shipped packages, and dealt with all payments to creators and from subscribers.
