Better governance exists. We’ve seen examples around the world of people and their city governments working together to solve local problems. But too often these actions – these behaviours – struggle to become the norm for everyone. Meaningful opportunities to act only exist for some people. And they are often one-off: too complex and expensive to last That’s what we want to see change. People are asking not just for concrete government action, but to play an active role in changing their situation. Governments too recognise this need to work with their residents. WILDcard design studio works with emerging cities to understand, spread and normalise the behaviours that made their one-off solutions work. So that interaction between people & city governments becomes the new norm in tackling the complex problems they face each day. Show less
