At Jacob William Advisory, we value a sense of urgency, success, clarity, and caring. Our purpose is to make our clients and team members lives easier and simpler. I do my best to support this purpose in all that I do. My role at the firm is to support advisors and the operations team in their tasks. I support the advisors by gathering client information. We use a system to securely gather the prospective client’s data. After the data is received, I upload the information to our analysis software, MoneyGuide. I currently am MoneyGuide certified in the basic planning software, and am working on my WealthStudio certification. After the information is received, I meet with the advisor to analyze the data. I present my findings, and answer any questions the advisor may have to create the prospective client’s plan. The advisors hold quarterly, semi-annual, or annual review meetings with the clients. To help the advisor prepare, I create a game plan, or agenda. I review with the advisor what was discussed in the previous meeting, and what needs to be reviewed in the upcoming meeting. If I am asked to join the review, I take notes of the conversation. I then add these notes to the review for the advisor to know what needs to be done before the next review. I also assist our operations team in daily tasks. I prepare client paperwork, and send it to the client for signature. I am currently learning how to transfer the assets once an account is set up. I also assist in projects such as revamping our Proven Process. This is a structured document that lays out the jobs of each position, and the system that is in place to complete such tasks. I am working with the operations team to organize our documents in our shared folder system to keep it as easy to use as possible! I am excited to learn new positions, and for my future at Jacob William Advisory! Show less

At Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, we strive to make the patients experience great. That is why we offer room service food delivery. This means that the patients, their nurse/tech, or family member can call in an order at anytime from 6:30am-6:30pm. As a Call Center Representative, I answer these calls with a positive attitude. Being in the hospital is tough enough, so I want to make their food experience positive! We use basic patient identifiers such as name and date of birth to ensure we are placing the order for the right person. Each person is prescribed a diet by their doctor/dietician. I need to know each diet, the nutritional allowances, and possible reason for the diet. This allows me to efficiently make recommendations that align with the patients diet, rather than having to click through the many different options. I must also be aware of the nutritional limits, so I am not promising the patient more than they can get. In addition to answering phone calls, a Call Center Representative will also call each patient to make sure they order by closing. We do not want anyone going to bed unfed! The call center at Upper Chesapeake receives calls from both Upper Chesapeake Hospital patients, as well as Harford Memorial Hospital. This averages around 200 patient phone calls a meal period, which is every 4 hours. I am grateful for my experience in this position, which has earned me the title of Senior Call Center Associate. Knowing all of the features of our software, as well as necessary process, I am able to train others in this position. Show less
