Assistant Manager
-
Jul 2021 - May 2022
I was a full time assistant manager. I would always try to come up with creative ideas to promote products to customers. While also running a smooth and organized shift. I would track and calculate hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly overall sales and compare them to current set goals. Other responsibilities included checking in stock then processing it and to make sure it was put out using current company floor/product layouts. Last but not least I would head opening and closing shifts. Meaning I was in charge of counting and documenting the tills. Along with recording depotits and dropping them at the bank. Basically, the stand-in for the general manager, I strived to keep standards and moral at 100%. Show less

Working as a sales associate at a women's plus size clothing store, as well as being one myself. I would always try and work with the customer. Understanding their intrests and trying to create an experience to make their day. Duties involed the standard cashier tasks, ringing, markdowns, stocking, online orders, and store maintenance. Of course there were the extra mile ones like finding their sizes, even helping in the fitting room when needed. Just making sure they had a fun time was what I always aimed for. Show less

Would mostly work as cashier so the usual ringing up, returns, exchanges. Other duties would mostly involve keeping the front of the store looking nice. Which involed refolding/hanging shirts, keeping returns organized by aisle for easy put-backs, as well ask stocking throughout the shift. Would sometimes be put on the floor and assigned an aisle to stock and straighten up for the shift. Even if I was working as cashier, I would always try my best to help the customer find exactly what they are looking for and possibly more. Show less

I worked overnight hours soley on the driverhru headset. The overnight crew consisted of 4 people, which ment I had to know how to do a bit of everything. Along with doing the position I was already in. So it was allot of multitasking, communicating, and always offering to lend a hand. Plus doing all of this as fast and efficiently as I could. Though it was quite hectic, I always managed to put the customer first and make sure they went home happy I worked overnight hours soley on the driverhru headset.
