Emily has been a great asset to the programme and product both in terms of contributing to experience design delivery and also management of the scrum and client teams. Balancing business requirements with user needs, Emily was fundamental to the consistent delivery of some complex features. Hope to work with you again soon!

I worked with Emily for around a year at Huge. She was a real asset to our team. From her first day, she was not shy to dive straight into our very demanding and complex project, and immediately began making a big difference to day-to-day processes. Before long, Emily was the go-to person for our sprint cadences, and very ably co-ordinated sessions with multiple disciplines across multiple time zones. Emily was always happy to help with work outside of her remit, and she cultivated an excellent relationship with our clients. I was incredibly impressed with how quickly she took to project work especially given this was her first role in that area. I hope I am able to work with her again. She'd be an asset to any digital team, and I know she'll excel at whatever she decides to do next.

I performed a Resource Manager, Producer and Studio Coordinator hybrid role to ensure the smooth running of the creative team during a crucial time for the company, as they prepared to launch their key product and premium membership. I was responsible for organising and prioritising the workflow of the team, hiring and on-boarding freelance designers, managing the creative team budget and coordinating other activities such as photo shoots. Client project for my General Assembly course. Worked within a team of three for Frontend Mentor to create a new feature on the platform - a report that users generate on their code solution which will provide insights into their code and highlight ways to improve the solution. The process: - Research: 15 in-person interviews and contextual inquiries and 15 in-depth surveys with developers with varying levels of skill. These results went into our Affinity Mapping where we identified key themes. - Ideation: We ran a design studio with our client to answer key “How Might We” questions for our designs. - Usability Testing: 4 rounds of usability testing with at least 5 participants in each test. We started with paper prototypes, moving to mid-fidelity and then high-fidelity for the final two rounds. The solution: A high-fidelity prototype of the new feature, and recommendations for the current platform. Client feedback: "I’m really happy with the end result. You all did an awesome job and it really will inform a lot of my decisions moving forward with the new feature." Show less
